Definition of phishing: the practice of tricking Internet users (as through the use of deceptive email messages or websites) into revealing personal or confidential information which can then be used illicitly.

What to Do?
- Never give out personal or sensitive information based on an email request.
- Don’t trust links or attachments in unsolicited emails.
- Hover over the link in the email to verify it is from the trusted source.
- Type in website addresses rather than using links from unsolicited emails.

Characteristics of strong passwords
- At least 8 characters—the more characters, the better
- A mixture of both uppercase and lowercase letters
- A mixture of letters and numbers
- Inclusion of at least one special character, e.g., ! @ # ? ]
Note: do not use < or > in your password, as both can cause problems in Web browsers

Go to https://haveibeenpwned.com/Passwords (pwned is a play on the word owned),
see how good your password is. Enter a dictionary word and see how many times it has shown up in breaches…
