From Sheri and Debbie:
The Memorial service for our mom will be this coming Wednesday, 5/8 at 2pm at Becker's Funeral Home in Clermont.
Because the Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind was an organization that was so near and dear to our mom, in lieu of flowers we are asking for donations to FSDB. I have added a link below that will take you directly to their website and in the upper right corner is a "Donate" button. By doing it this way 100% of the proceeds will go to FSDB. If you chose to donate please be sure and add a note that it is in memory of Betty Meadows. If you click on the link below, it will take you to FSDB's website.
Thank you to all of you for being such an important part of our mom's life. We always knew she had a huge generous heart and was always smiling but when she first became ill, Sheri and I really saw just how much mom touch the lives of others. On her first day at Quality in Winter Garden there were 8 staff from Benton House that went to see her and she had regular visits from the staff until she passed. She will be missed but always treasured.
Long-time Beta Theta (Clermont) member - Betty Meadows, passed away this last Wednesday (May 1st).

On Saturday, May 4, 2019, Norman Frederick Coy of Oldsmar, FL passed away at the age of 80. Originally from upstate New York, he moved to Florida and was the owner of Krazy Norm’s Discount Golf and Sports in Zephyrhills before retirement.
A beloved “Papa” to all, he leaves behind his wife, Rhonda, sister - Carol Cadrette, brother - Jim Coy and children: Valerie & Shannon Stewart, Christine & Mark Duncan, and Patrick & Jeanine Coy. Counted among his greatest joys in life are his seven grandchildren; Isabella, Gabriel, Molly, Maggie, Savannah, Calvin, and Cameron. He is survived by many more loved ones including in-laws, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and nephews, his dog “Dixie” and cat “Fat Bob.”
“Papa” was a proud Navy veteran who served on the USS Fulton, a member of Eagles Post 4250, AoA and Community United Methodist Church. He was an avid supporter of the Tampa Bay Rays and the philanthropic organization, Epsilon Sigma Alpha. For many years he was the lead vocal and guitar for Cedar Grove Bluegrass which was his passion. With his creative mind and building skills over the years, he has assembled many stages, “assisted” with school projects, written poems, riddles, built furniture and painted gnomes.
Above all, he enjoyed his family and spending time together laughing with them.
