"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed, citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has."
Margaret Mead
In doing a little reflection of this past year, I continue to be amazed at the accomplishments of the ESA Foundation. In the last 50 years, the members of this Foundation have made exciting advancements and we have the most dedicated members who continue to encourage the Directors to move ahead.
Here is some information from the ESA Foundation "history".
Leadership Seminar, Vail, Colorado
June 30, 1970, Loveland, Colorado
An exciting new idea was presented to those in attendance the idea that ESA Women International should have a recognized charitable organization that could be of assistance to all charities whereby grants and monies could be donated by businesses and individuals who were not members of ESA.
These people had a vision, but I seriously doubt that they could ever envision that 50 years later we would be able to...

ESAF Scholarships
Did you know that we have 3 early bird scholarships this year? If there are any funds remaining from the processing fees after completing the website scholarship program maintenance / updating, they are used for early bird scholarships.
The number and amount of these scholarships may vary from year to year. This year the early bird scholarship amounts are $1000, $750 and $500.
So, get those applications in early. Be sure to spread this information to all students applying for applications. If you have any questions, please contact Kathy Loyd at kathybloyd@gmail.com or 660-441-3310.

Turn Around Fund Tips
The use of the Turn Around Fund within ESA Foundation is simple and has some great benefits for reporting charitable contributions.
- Our donations allow the Foundation to maintain its status by having contributions to multiple charities.
- You write one check to ESA Foundation for multiple charities (if you pay for each check you write, that is a savings to you).
- The Foundation will deliver any St Jude monies directly to St Jude, guaranteeing the correct credit to ESA.
