Robin Allred of Eta Rho and Florida State Second Vice President has been diagnosed with shingles. The areas affected are her head, eye, nose and face; they were, hopefully, caught early enough to be contained and will not travel further. The areas affected are extremly painful, and we are hoping that the optic nerve will not be damaged. Please send good thoughts to Robin at: 315 Country Club Drive Oldsmar, Florida 34677

UPDATE 2/14: When the doctors were investigating the cause of the chest pains, they discovered a mass in the lymph node under the right arm and an additional one in the right breast. She has an appointment with her oncologist next Monday, Feb. 21, to determine the course of treatment. Please keep Donna in your prayers. Cards can be sent to the address below.
UPDATE 1/29: Donna is home from the hospital. The doctors don't know what caused the chest pains.
Donna Vanderburg, Lambda Xi, was admitted to the hospital this morning, January 26, with chest pains. She is in St. Luke's Hospital in Jacksonville, Room 401. Her release date is uncertain; the doctors will be running some tests tomorrow (Thursday) to determine the cause. Well wishes can be sent to:

Please keep Joann Pennington (long time member of Delta Alpha) and her family in your prayers. Two weeks ago, Joann’s sister, Bettie Sue Acree, was found dead by her 13 year old granddaughter (who she was raising). Bettie Sue had tripped or miss-stepped her way out the door and fell off the landing, breaking her neck. Please send notes of support to:
